Common questions

How do I join my ladder?

There are three ways in. Your ladder organizer can give you the ladder's link or its join code: the link starts climbtheladder.io/join/ and ends with the code. Open the link, or type the code at climbtheladder.io/join. Or, if you were sent an invitation email, open it and tap the link in it. Or ask your ladder organizer to add you.

To use the app, install it first — ClimbTheLadder on the App Store for iPhone, or the Android app from our Android page. Then open your link on your phone. You'll be guided through creating an account, and you'll be on your ladder straight away. You can also join in a web browser at play.climbtheladder.io, with nothing to install.

How do I change my name, phone number, or UTR link?

Open the app and go to your Profile. Your email address and phone number are visible to the other members of your ladder — including while you or they are resting — so matches can be arranged. A phone number is optional.

How do I stop notifications?

You can turn off notifications for ClimbTheLadder any time in your device's Settings.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: tap Profile, scroll to the bottom, tap Delete Account, type DELETE, and confirm. Your account is deleted immediately. If you can't sign in, email support@climbtheladder.io from the address on your account. Full details: climbtheladder.io/delete-account.
