Delete your ClimbTheLadder account

You can delete your account at any time, from inside the app. It takes about a minute, and it can't be undone.

In the app

1. Open ClimbTheLadder, tap Profile, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Account.
2. On the Delete Account screen, type DELETE in the box.
3. Tap Delete My Account. Your account is deleted immediately.

What gets deleted

Your account, login, and contact info — email address, display name, phone number, and UTR link — along with your push notification tokens, are erased the moment you confirm. Your record in PostHog, our analytics tool, is removed within 30 days.

What stays

Your completed matches stay visible to the other players on your former ladders as "Deleted player," so their records still add up.

Can't sign in?

Email support@climbtheladder.io from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm by reply and finish the deletion within 30 days.

Just need a break?

You don't have to delete anything to step away from a ladder. Mark yourself as resting in the app instead — your account and your history stay put.
