ClimbTheLadder

Terms of Service

Effective date: July 23, 2026

Welcome to ClimbTheLadder. These terms govern your use of the ClimbTheLadder mobile app, the admin web application, and this website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

The Service

ClimbTheLadder provides tennis ladder management for clubs: standings, challenges, match reporting, and related features. Ladders are organized and administered by clubs or their designated administrators, not by ClimbTheLadder.

Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

Club administrators

Club administrators can manage ladders, invite and remove players, and correct match records (for example, voiding an incorrectly reported match). Administrators are expected to use these tools fairly and in accordance with their club's own rules.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: misrepresent match results; harass other players; attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours; interfere with the operation of the Service; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Match records and standings

Match results and standings are maintained as a service to clubs. Standings reflect the results reported by players and any corrections made by club administrators. Disputes about specific matches should be raised with your club administrator, whose determination is final within the app.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by ClimbTheLadder. You retain no ownership interest in the Service, but your own information remains yours and is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClimbTheLadder will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you (or your club) paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
