ClimbTheLadder

ClimbTheLadder for Android

ClimbTheLadder isn't in the Google Play Store yet, so the Android app installs from this page instead. It takes a few taps, and your phone will show a couple of warnings along the way. That's normal for any app that comes from outside the Play Store. This page walks you through each one.

Checking the current version…

Download the Android app

This is a large download. Use Wi-Fi if you can.

Already have the app?

Installing it again over your current app updates it. You'll stay signed in and won't lose anything. If you're not sure whether you have the latest version, installing it again is safe.

How to install

  1. Tap the Download button above. Your phone may warn that this type of file could harm your device. Tap "Download anyway" (or "OK").
  2. When the download finishes, tap the download notification. If you can't find it, open your Files app, go to Downloads, and tap climbtheladder-android.apk.
  3. You may see "For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source." Tap Settings, turn on "Allow from this source," then tap the back arrow.
  4. Tap Install. If a "Blocked by Play Protect" message appears, tap "More details," then "Install anyway."
  5. Samsung phones only: if you see "Blocked by Auto Blocker," open Settings, go to Security and privacy, then Auto Blocker, and turn it off. Then start again from step 2. You can turn Auto Blocker back on afterwards.
  6. Tap Open, then sign in with the same email and password you use on the website.
