How the ladder runs

These six numbers are already filled in. Change any you like, or leave them as they are. You can change them later too.

How many spots above them may a player challenge?

With 6, the player in seat 10 may challenge seats 4 to 9.

How many spots below them may a player challenge?

With 10, the player in seat 10 may challenge seats 11 to 20.

How many days does a player have to reply to a challenge?

The challenged player accepts or declines within this many days.

How many days do two players have to play an accepted match?

Once a challenge is accepted, the two players have this long to play.

How many days may a player go without playing before they drop?

A player who goes this long without playing a match moves down the ladder.

How many seats does that player drop?

With 3, an idle player in seat 10 moves down to seat 13.
